On August 18-20th, 2020, Nor-Fishing 2020 took to the digital stage. Nor-Fishing, established and hosted by the Nor-Fishing Foundation, is one of the largest aquaculture and marine fishing exhibitions in the world, held bi-annually in Trondheim, Norway. As a result of COVID-19, the event took place exclusively online, but still showcased a variety of innovations within the industry.
Although I was unfortunately unable to explore Norway, in the article below I explore the digital exhibition, discussing the various conferences and seminars that took place over the course of the three-day event. In 2020 there was a marked renewal in interest regarding feed nutrition, sustainability and, of course, the effects of COVID-19 upon the marine sector.
