Antibiotic Reduction in the Poultry Industry- Milling and Grain magazine, August 2020

Many industries have witnessed a growth in webinars and online seminars, as a response to COVID-19, and the feed sector is no exception. Over the past few months I have attended (and hosted) a variety of webinars, seminars and exhibitions on a myriad of digital platforms.

One particularly interesting webinar I attended back in April was ‘Antibiotic Reduction Experiences in the UK’, hosted by Austrian feed additive producers Biomin. The conference featured Dr Daniel Parker, a UK veterinarian and focussed upon his his experiences with the British Poultry Council (BPC) and reducing the use of antibiotics in the poultry sector.
