SCENE: A close-up of Yari, a man who is dressed rather extravagantly in a garnet suit and tie, his blue hair pulled back and an abstract spiral tattoo smeared across his right cheek. He boldly contrasts the bleak desolation and darkness of the room.
SCENE: Yari’s hand, emblazoned with an expensive ruby ring, carelessly throws a cracked plate of substandard food onto the floor. The room is notably covered with old, uneaten plates of rotting food, which are surrounded by flies, as well as soiled clothing seemingly belonging to Sona.
SOUND FX: Buzz.
YARI: ‘’Here. Food.’’
SCENE: Yari stands next to Sona, his arm pressing down on her shoulder. He looks down at her immobile body. Yari’s expression is of anger and frustration. There is a muted hum from the virtual reality device.
SOUND FX: Hum
SCENE: A close-up of Sona’s handcuffs being tightened roughly by Yari.
SOUND FX: Clink!
SCENE: Yari exits the room, his back to Sona in the dim lighting.
SOUND FX: Creak.
SCENE: On the other side of the door, Yari securely locks Sona inside. The lock is clearly highly complex and technical.
SOUND FX: Click.
And there’s part two! In total there should be around seven or eight parts to this script.
I’ll also be posting some character sketches up soon, but I’ll probably wait until the action picks up in the text, so there’s more to draw without spoiling the story!
